First Baptist church was planted in 1885 by Dr. Robert Burns Morehead. After a fire burned down the original church, the church was rebuilt across the street. Our current sanctuary was constucted in 1918 and we have called 202 S. Main Street home ever since. Our church has continued for generations to be a Gospel light in our community, and we would love for you to come and be a part of what the Lord is doing here at FBC.
